I ride Team Green.03 P650 with 28"s and a bunch more. My 4th Kawasaki and she has been a good one at that.

yeah the 500 was good, but with the 525 out no reason not to take that if your going polaris. Well, KTM....I would give them a lot more respect if they had developed their own 525 engine instead..
I guess it's an easy way to make a sale....
I like the fact it has IRS and I even like polaris...but the thing looks goofy to me. Kinda like they are marketing kids or something. but that's just my opinion, if people like it then more power to them. As long as your out riding having fun that's what it's all about...
Also, if you think the outlaw is retardly fast, then you should try a raptor 700. I'm not saying the outlaw is any slower than the raptor. But the power delivery is something to behold on the raptor..

Go for the Honda!! No joke. I have the 650 Honda Rincon and I love it!! Best bike I've ever owned! And I grew up at my parents Polaris dealership. Honda bikes last forever! They might not be the fastest thing out there but for long term reliability Honda is the way to go!

Here is my 2005 660 Raptor. The only problem I have had is having to adjust the rear brakes. Other than that it is a blast. I don't regret buying it one bit.

I'd take a look at the kawasaki 700 sport quad. That thing was a blast to drive. Plus it is automatic and no chain drive to deal with. Extremely quick.

Why stay away from polaris?

I have been around and worked on this stuff, and just apart fro normal wear and tear, and owner abuse, we dont run into problems.

Why do you think they are "worlds toughest?"

Polaris has won multiple awards in lots of categories, for example.

Hawkeye 300 - winner of the best mid size ATV class
Sportsman 800 - winner of the Big Bore utility class
Scrambler 500 - winner of the sport utility class

The scrambler 500 H.O. would be a good trail/sport bike, 4 wheel drive, but still goes like a bat out of hell.

But, whatever, its your descion, just tryin to help ya make an educated choice :-)

And who gave these awards?

Scramblers are considered "garbage" by most ATV magazines/forums/riders. I've never rode one myself, but with their reputation as "nothing special" I can't see how it won.

And there are better midsized ATV's than the Hawkeye...

And my smaller engine Brute will smoke a Sportsman 800. You could not run fast enough to give me a Polaris.

Hey Polaris has some strong points. Like a very stout front recovery loop, I've pulled out numerous popo's and never had one break

I recently bought a 700 Grizzly... great power and ground clearance and power steering really does shine at the end of the day!
I'm really impressed with it - not tippy either like I thought it would be.
