What do you guys think of the new Ram?

My truck is going bye-bye. I have been thinking about buying an 07' Hemi Ram 1500. What do you all think of them? Also, does anyone know what their deal is with employee pricing? Have they ever offered it to the public like ford? If not, I believe I should be able to get it, my uncle worked for Chrysler for around 40 years.... Thanks all!

The 4-door 4x4's with a small lift and 35's and diesel combo look great.

I would pimp one for pulling the Jeep and trailer.

I'm thinking SLT Quad Cad 4x4 1500 With the Hemi in electric blue... I test drove one and really like it. The only thing I dislike is I feel like I am falling forward, the front of the truck sits lower than the back, I'm just not used to that.... Other than that I loved it, and that Hemi definitely has some *****...

Here's a quote from the very first one in this list:

"We have no Best Buys in this class. Our Recommended picks are the Chevrolet Avalanche, Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Classic, Ford F-150, and GMC Sierra 1500 Classic.

New or significantly redesigned models include the Chevrolet Avalanche, Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra, and Toyota Tundra.
News
Dodge is said to be working on a Ram update for 2009. The effort focuses mainly on bringing interior design, materials and assembly up to Ford F-Series levels. The basic platform will apparently change little, if at all. Exterior styling is likely to be freshened."

I am a Ford guy overall, but I respect and give all vehicles a chance. I would seriously reconsider the ram, unless you were going for a diesel.

Enough said.

Okay, 1 more thing. I found this pretty interesting thread started by you of all people. Pretty good read, got some good stuff in there. Whatever you get, pick it because you like it and don't look back. Just pick wisely.

Around town...yes. On the highway? Good lord no. I thought my 4.6 was bad. The Hemi was popping out of O/D every other second it seemed like.

The horrendous re-style Dodge did on the Ram back in '06 makes it un-purchasable in my opinion -- I call it "Aztec ugly".............

Yeah, those were definitely ugly, but the newer Dakota runs a close second.
