i love doing sigs like that, but i really dont know how to do the flash like lightning can anyone help me out with that part?

 

Well I'm a simple man.

I like my sigs like I like my cars and women, fast and easy.


There are numerous ways to do it, depends on size of the image and desired effect.

For that one

new image 500x100
fill blk
new layer
press "d" for default colors
filters>render>clouds
ctrl+I to invert colors for viewing
image>adjustments>levels slide middle arrow all the way over
when it looks like lightning then hit ok then ctrl+I to invert back
edit>define brush

Congratulations you just made a new brush to use for lightning.

to use
Creat your image, choose paint brush, select your new brush you just made, color white on top, tehn click to add ligthing. Then to flash outer and inner glow and use adobe ImageReady to animate.

The URL is a little hard to read now that I put it up but may try to clear it up later. The url was not easily readable on the truck so I made it the LOGO and URL added to the pic.

try one of those with my sig, but dont give it any color tint unless it's gray scale.
maybe one with rain and one without.

and just white out my name in there now, and put the new glowing name where it is now.

edit: make the lightning pattern similar to yours, not jamzs's's's's's.
