Proof? Or is it hearsay from someone who thinks they're "in the know"?

 

In the interview his sister said that one of the last things they would look at was making there own race team. If he is leaving cuz the big T won't give him 51% among other thing's, I would have guessed making his own race team would have been the first thing they would do. It's not like he don't have the money.

 

It is not hearsay. won't be specific about who .. but it is not third party, filtered information ..

 

running the show yourself makes it very difficult to win championships ..

Dale has said several times that he doesn't want JR to get so big that it becomes a burden to him and his cup racing effort.

 

Take Mike Waltrip for an example. He's had supreme success with his new NC team. As an owner and driver. lol

I'm sure Dale jr. has learned from watching that debacle.

I kinda feel sorry for the guy, He was doing so good with DEI.

 

I used to like him, until toyota.

 

and it isn't like his cars are that bad .. he was faster than 9 guys today that will be racing tomorrow, but they are all top 35 in points..

I hate that damn 35 car rule .. should be no more than the top 20.. or better yet give them two qualifying shots and make 'em all qualify on speed.

 

I think they should let all of them race!!! Why only 43 car's? And they should race a couple dirt tracks too!!

 

Yes because 50+ nextel cup series stock cars with splitters and wings on a dirt track would definitly fit in the new nascar.

+1 on that. i would like to see the fastest 43 in. period. but it think top 20 is more realistic.

 

Did you ever watch any races? He won 3 races in 3 years with them. 1 race was shortened because of rain, not a real win in my book. THe other 2 he did race for the win. He's been around for ~30 years with only 3 wins.

Michael Waltrip sucks, always has and always will. He need to take himself out of the car.

 

Yah and one of his other win's is when the big Dale hit the wall. So really he has only had one win that was any good, for him.
