I've only had the priviledge to listen to $50,000 two-channel home systems...

Like I said, just admit it kid - you want to be loud and that's it. You and your 150db buddies have no idea what accurate sound reproduction is. You maybe smart when it comes to making SPL's, but that doesn't mean you have good taste or can tell what a double bass is supposed to sound like...

I haven't got to hear that outside of demo rooms, not in an actual setup!!!
I had thought about getting into planning and setting up home systems a few years ago, but decided I hate the public to much.

I agree, It's pretty common knowledge that a 12" sub pushes real close to the same amount of air as a 15", due to the faster repsonse time. It also uses less power and consumes less space plus can still get sub sonic frequencies at high Db's.

15's are for show and being able to bragg that you were able to stuff them in teh truck of a kia, (granted it was probbaly the installer that they hired that pounded his head wondering why? but he's more than willing to do it for them to take thier money.) but from an audio stand point, they suck my salty *****.

you dont make any sense, first you complain about not being able to afford gas. then all of the sudden you got major money for a 17 year old. IMO if you had major "teenager" money you wouldnt be complaining about gas in the first place, that should be chump change.....

now you are gonna get a 2000+ model year caddy to "look rich" and put 160db of sound in it with i am sure "the best amp in the world." i thought you couldnt afford gas? now your a big baller pushing a cadillac with competition audio? please

oh and now you are a professional car audio listener?

like i said, gotta love teenagers that know everything

I have to question weather you are friends with any competitin audio guys like the link to the VW.

FYI Most competitions wont allow ported boxes, that is known as cheater boxes, so anyone in competition laughs at anyone with a ported box, your audio friends wouldn't let you even think about porting and roll with them.....

i never compalined once about the gas..i said thats why im selling it, not that i cant afford it. id like to have something to show for with my money not just waste it on gas. id rather save the money and have a system and be able to drive. and yeah if you have the same model 15 against the same model in a 12, a 15 will be louder wont be as clear because the response isnt as quick, but still louder and nearly as clear. and the amp is rd audio also.

But before you all run off . . . I just want to address one thing . . .

I'll put a Rolls-Royce Phantom against your truck in a tug of war and you'll lose big time.

Phantom =

Gross Weight: 6710 lbs.
Horsepower: 453 hp
Torque: 531 ft-lbs.

Eerrrrrr..... Ummmmmmm

I'm concerned that my electric bills on my house will get out of hand this summer. Does anyone know what a good asking price for a house, 1 4x4, 1 econo car, and 1 SUV is?

I want something to show for my money, so I'm getting a yacht instead.

P.S. Does anyone have a source for gold electroplating on yacht rails?
