What is with all the personal character attacks?

This thread is about the show and a fellow f150 driver who is on it and doing well.

As a public figure, JWallace is gonna have to get used to taking some critizism along with the props for his role in the show, and has so far has taken it as he should, which is not to take it personally.

 

txar, I'm not trying to make you feel stupid dude...I asked a simple question and never got an answer.

I asked JW if the track was short and that was that. I made the comment that his truck couldn't run a 1/4 in 13 seconds...what's the big deal? Why did you join this forum and start ripping me apart and accusing me of making fun of your intelligence level? I'm a big fan bro and JW knows it...I was just questioning whether or not that was an actual 1/4 mile.

JW, you were doing better by yourself...and now you got this posse that's following you around to do your defending...what's up with that man...get your boy in check, please.

And like someone mentioned, you're going to catch some criticism but come on man...all I said was that there was no way the track was a full quarter. No one's denying that, so I'm going to assume I was right. The only one that can answer that truthfully is JW himself. Sure we can speculate within 99% certainty...but you get the point.

ok lets stop, it is fine to criticize him, but what i got mad at was that guy calling him an "a**hole" and making fun of his haircut (seriously, that has nothing to do with this) you don't need to cuss him out to criticize something he did, we need to calm down about this and stop criticizing each others education and bull like that, who knows if it was a 1/4, IMO without that nitrous shot he wouldn't have gotten 13.3 in a 1/4 but in the show thats what he got

1965 Mustang Fastback 2+2, it was a factory 289 4 barrel car. That motor is long gone, sadly, I've got a 302 in there with a few little mods to her backed by the 4spd manual transmission.

Guys come on! I do not believe the track was a full quarter mile, but it was pretty damn close.
Deepea: As for the posse comment. Dude I know him and he is a friend. What would you do if your friends integrity was being questioned? I hope you would stand up and do something. He has no malice in his heart, he is just tellin it like he knows it. There are many things that I may not disclose about the show or the truck yet, and TXarson is going to try to get me in a head lock when he sees me. Although he is a foot shorter than I it might be a knee bar. I will try to beat around the bush to get the point across though. As for the people who "hate" on me! They all have the right to. I love the fact that we all have the common ground "F150's" and that most of you have my back because of that. I wish I could meet each and every one of yall so you could get to know the real Jason Wallace, and not what is portrayed on TV.

 

Thats exactly what team 6 ran. You know that car did the exact same thing last week. Bent a rod. I think the previous owner didn't install the cam properly or adjust the rockers or something.

If you watch the video, Mr Angry says "When they explain it to you, they say 'you know, this wall is 60 feet away. You just have to stop your car in 60 feet'" - 01:44 mark.

 

Yes you are correct. 60ft from the finish line. I actually did the challenge first, and as much as I hated the lotus driver, I didn't want him to catch a brick to the head. The wall was moved back 20 or 40ft. You can see that when he crossed the line he skid through the dust from my collision. He would have exploded that matchbox and possible been seriously hurt

Mine's just a run of the mill '64.5 with a 260 bored .060, that's still a V8 BTW most of you young 'uns probably ain't heard of the 302/5.0's great uncle.

It's got a hotter cam, Edelbrock Performer intake, Holley 390 CFM carb, Pertronix, Hi-Po exhaust manifolds, dual exhaust w/H-pipe, factory A/C, 3 sp. manual, Export brace, 1.5" Shelby drop, 1" lowered rear, 15"x7" Torq Thrust Ds with 225-50 BFG Euro T/As.

I've done pretty much all of the work myself. I didn't spray the paint and and only helped with the body work but everything else I did.

I really like yours! I'd _love_ to have a 2+2. I think I might do the mirror image of yours though if I could, blue with white stripes...

 

ive got a couple friends that drive a lotus just like the one in the show, they actually run a 13.2 1/4 mile so yes it was alittle short of a 1/4 however, the f150 was still only a second or so away from that lotus and it also beat the time of the 57chevy, and the dodge charger so that itself is very impressive.

I did notice that it looked like Loserus stopped in the midst of a bunch of dust debris... that answers that! I hate how they air that stuff all out of order of how it really happened! That's the second challenge you ran first that they showed you running second. Now maybe folks can understand _WHY_ you ran so hard and sacrificed the truck. You beat the Lambo because he blew the driver ability portion of his challenge, you could only hope Loserus Dude would do the same.
