I might have to get me one of those. My friend just got 3 pictures of his truck and license plate the other day with a $130.00 ticket... I told him to take a picture of $130.00 cash and send it back to them. Those camera tickets are not holding up in court to well.

I'd rather just have the clear one that covers the plate and reflects from angles.

Flipping up and down it too much work plus in many states it is illegal.

Google Radar Roy and you'll see his site with covers's he tested.

In Maryland if you are caught with something like that it is a pretty nice fine. You are not allowed to obscure your plate. Now if you have a clear cover that just reflects light well...too bad.

There is a clear reflective spray available also that has tested quite well by some of the auto mags.

100% legal

yep, but with my luck I'd forget to reapply and that is when I'd get nailed.

I've never gotten a ticket so it isn't a pressing issue for me but the idea of big brother watching just ticks me off.

Oh I've had tickets, but they still prefer the warm body method around here as opposed to the camera.

or you could just get a radar detector and follow the speed limit.

Where's the fun in that?

Why would you need a radar detector if you always follow the speed limits, anyway?

Unless you are in heavy traffic those things just tell you a few seconds early that you're fixing to get a ticket.

Definitely illegal in Ohio---and the cops would have a ton of fun with that---cameras, though, have been falling on legal hard times here in the Buckeye state.

Even if you get a tcket from a camera, you pay the fine but have no points against your license---but as stated before, cameras have been found to be illegal, and most cities are being forced to change how they are operated.

Well, you probably read what Koos Spee had to say about those plates.
It is illegal in Holland and it's considered a criminal offence.
If you get caught you are fined for €75 (+- $100) and you end up in court.

Not worth the trouble IMO.

It's not illegal to install the FoxPlate, only when you use it driving on a public road. (In the Netherlands, i don't no about the US laws)
