Nope, they come to me. And this worthless town doesn't even have a Shell station. Only Mobil, Phillips 66, BP, and a few off brands that use water as a gasoline substitute.

I'm married and my wife is pregnant. Obviously, I haven't just been 'sitting' at home.

...ahh but you do have an Applebees and a Steak & Shake... (and that Mexican food place that had food that was equivalent to a frozen dinner from the Wal-Mart Super Center (across the street from Applebees)).

Hey... I did notice that the BBQ place was shut down for remodeling... You need to check that place out more frequently -- GOOD stuff.

I was going to go to the BBQ place the other day, and I saw that it was under remodeling. Bastards. And if I were to have an older g/f who would go to bars (all 2 of em in Rolla), I wouldn't sit at home with my thumb up...somewhere Hey, Big Louie's is like 20 mins away...

I say that you forgo your trip to ISU... instead, take a road trip via Hwy 72 over to the metropolis of Reynolds, MO.

There's no John Deere plant but, they do have a charcoal kiln as well as a railroad tie manufacturing plant. I'm pretty sure that the gas station sells beer (and meth). You should be golden...

Crappy part about this drive is that about 280 miles of it are going to be on 63. My kidneys hurt already.

No, the pavement from here to Jeff city BLOWS! The cracks are spaced just right in it to where the entire truck shakes when you hit them. Kind of like a pothole the width of the street. And no, no drinking and driving. We are VERY strict about drinking and driving here...

I went to college in Des Moines and was up there two weeks ago helping a friend move into his new house. It is insanely cold there now, so have fun. Also, 63 is boring as crud... bud you'll have that.
