Just to sort of bring the thread back. Does anyone know where the term "rule of thumb comes from?"
Years ago a man couldn't beat his wife with a switch bigger than his thumb. Believe it or not. Times have changed a little since then I'd say.

lol, well talk about going off on a tangent...

Oh well. At least everyone is having fun reminiscing.

Not surprised by a certain someone's lack of class either, but hey, if it weren't for low class, low IQ people in the world then people like myself would just fit right into the crowd.... So thanks for making me 'special'

Number 1 “Man-Law” – No whining…

I was just ribbing you, it’s ok to rib people as per the Man-Law bylaws. I checked and had my Man-Law attorney check, he thinks the Chargers suck too so could be construed as bias…

New England Patriots fan here, and they sucked during that game as well but just didn’t suck as bad…

This entire post is ribbing and has been reviewed, and approved, for release by my Man-Law attorney…

If I didn't think you were good people I wouldn't bother phucking with you now and then...

01 is right....ribbing is allowed unless you ruin a beer in the process.

I guess the Charger/Patriot game was the Super Bowl.
This week we get a second Super Bowl with the Colt/Patriots.

The thing they call the Super Bowl will actually be the heavily favored AFC playing the underdog NFC.

I'd like to see the Saints upset the Colts in the big one.

Archie's old team beating his boy's team? Wow. That would be funny.

Friend B, who doesn't watch sports, doesn't play sports, or even have anything resembling a favorite team decides to belittle his friend and his team of choice. He continues to bash his friend's team, saying how bad they really are.

I ask, is it not cowardly to criticize another team without even putting your own neck out there by declaring your team of choice?

Please discuss.
You must be talking about the Falcons.
