how to fix pitbull problem

Several years ago I know of an animal that was a problem to the neighborhood and could not be solved legally. Someone got pieces of cut up steak and hid some large triple hooks in the meat, the animal being always hungry ate the meat/hooks and died the next day. This is a painful death and I do not recomend this unless it's a last resort. Then again think of the painful death of being eaten alive by a dog. Sooner or later these vicous animals will be outlawed. I am a dog lover but not a pit bull lover.
You sir, are an idiot. Just because the animal is capable of defending itself, doesn't make it vicious. Many other dogs are more likely to bite than a pit. I've had several and they are the most laid back animals I've ever kept. Of course, they were never mistreated and were always kept indoors or on a leash. I hope the punk kid, whose dog you threatened to shoot, reads this and takes it the cops as proof of the threat. You sound more of a threat to the neighborhood than the dogs you profess hatred for.

Bet these people wish they would have gone fishing for "pits" But then again the dog was not at fault so is it OK with you that the kid pays

Really?
What makes them so vicious?
Novelty dogs I've had equal experince with most including pits and Rotts.... all the ones big dogs that I know might lick yea to death.
Now those little chawawas everyone likes...... I have not met a one that didn't yep at me and come up to me showing teeth while yepping and growling. Granted non of them have ever snapped or nipped at me yet, a few have thought about it and had me worried.
Is that the type of dog you refer to as loveable and civilized?
We have had 12 people mauled by these dogs in the past 8 months. .The police shot two of them, and one guy shot another in his front yard . . I dont live in the city so i cant say as i care. We live out in the country where everyone dumps their dogs when they either dont want them or w/e other reason.
I got two words of advice for you. Be Careful. When I moved into my house years ago, my neighbors had two Pitbulls. And all that seperated them from my five year old son was a four foot high, chicken wire fench. Everytime time my son went out in our backyard those two dogs went on attack mode towards my son, Trying to get through that flimsy wire fence. I took two days off work, spent about $400.00 and put up a six foot wooden fence that still stands today. In my heart, I know that had I not done this, those two POS dogs would have killed my son. My son is now 25 years old, but if I ever see a pitbull in my yard, I will kill it dead as a door ****.
Have you seen the cat attacks latley?
Ohh thats right, thats not important enough to make the news.... take a trip to your local ER and get the real scoop on what attacks who and how often learn what is vicious.
your condition is known as Media induced paranoia.

Fewer than 30 people are killed annually by dogs. That's against some 37 million dogs in the USA. Pit's are on the list of dogs that have killed; but, they are not alone.

I stay away from them and would not kill them. The big difference is with a rattlesnake you know what you got, with a pitbull you just hope you know. Stay away from places where rattlesnakes live and all will be OK --- but these fools bring pitbulls in neighborhoods next door to kids and hope for the best.
When I was a child, we got our first pit from a breeder who had been cited for mistreating his animals. We rescued two pups that stayed with our family for 13 years and never once barked at a stranger. Hell, if you stopped and took the time to make friends with them, they'd probably let you rob our home for a scratch on the tummy. Nobody who knows my mother would call her macho; but, she's owned nothing but pits since and had nothing but pleasurable company from them.
