(Place) to Find Free DvD Burning software?

I got a DVD burning drive for my PC for Christmas and I want to make duplicate copies of my DVDs since I will put them in my truck and fear they may all get stolen.

anyone know where I can find (DL) some free software that will allow me to rip DvDs? Or even the name of some software...

Thanks!

DVD Shrink is good at ripping the DVD's to your computer, but you will need another piece of software to burn it to a DVD. Try to find DVD Decrypter, might take a while but its worth it.

Do you have a DVD rom and burner or just one? If you have one of each you could just copy directly from one DVD to a blank one using pretty much any software that way you don't need two programs and/or two steps. I used Roxio back in the day, not sure if there's anything better there now but a Google search for "dvd burning software" came back with 3,840,000 results.

DVD Shrink is the best ripper (you need a ripper unless you are using a double density DVD burner), and then I just use the Roxio software that came with my DVD Burner. Works perfect every time.....

Been using DVD Fab Decrypter, in conjunction with Nero Recode lately... It's been great.

Yes, that has Nero recode in it along with a lot of other software. All for burning or setting up the data for burning. I would not let it install InCD. That is packet writing software that can conflict with other software. Also packet writing is a good way to lose the data you are trying to create. Just do a custom install and make sure InCD is not checked.
