I don't know what it is . . . maybe I'm just weird, but when the temps reach the 30's around here I get excited. It's almost like I live in a REAL place that has REAL winter type temps.

So, only moments ago, on my way home, the temp was 39!!!!

AND . . . it's supposed to drop to somewhere around 30! That's below freezing!!!!!

I. LOVE. IT.

The dork on the radio said there was a frost warning in effect.

This is so cool. (No pun intended).

:santa:

Bah, just minutes ago I was on my porch, and it was 66 or so after 1 am. That's south FL for you. Gulf temps in the upper 60s if you want to go swimmin'. Brrr.

A frost warning??????

WTH?

muhahahahaha

The national weather service would like to announce to LA county that conditions are favorable for frost on the windshield when yo awake up. Do not be alarmed, it is a perfectly natural occerence.... Just start your car as normal and let vehicle run for 10 mins with the defroster on and on heat (thats the red side of the dial).

Sounds like a great plan, I'm just trying to figure out how to get it all packaged up for ya. Any idea what the shipping on that would be??

I can only imagine what most of the morons here would do if there was ice on the roads. It would be absolute pandemonium.

If it rains here the accident rate skyrockets, the local news acts like it's the end of the world, the mayor declares a state of emergency . . . all hell breaks loose.

I will have lived here 42 years on Jan. 1st. In that time it has only snowed here once and thank God it was after midnight and this was about 18 years ago so there were no where near as many cars as there is now. I was working a swing shift and lived in the Valley. It started snowing shortly after I got off of work. I was driving in the rain and suddenly it became super quiet, no more rain pelting the car, and then white stuff floating in front of my windshield.

It was friggin' awesome, and people were pulling over on the shoulder of the freeway and getting out of their cars to experience it.

I wish it would snow here again, but that ain't gonna happen.

P.S. Love the sig quote. I don't suppose you can be bribed to remove it? . . .

It snowed for about two hours here in Las Vegas from about 3am-5am this morning... Nothing big, because it melted within the first hour of sunlight...

Kobi, I tried PMing you, and emailing you, and you blocked it all. Could you send me a full resolution copy of that pic to BuiltFordTough@Sbcglobal.net

Thanks...My great grandma wanted for me to get a good sunset pic, and yours is better than any that I have gotten so far..

You've got mail -

Let me know if it worked as I have never sent a pic that large thru that particular account.

P.S. Read my reply in the "Snowing" thread:
