Thanks everybody. I think I will get it. I mean I really can't go wrong because I am Getting it off my sister and her husband. Her father-n-law gave it to them free of charge because he was tired of climbing in and out of it. From what I can see in the pictures she has sent me it is in pretty good shape, and her father-n-law just got done fixing anything that was wrong with it before he gave it to them. Plus I am only paying $200.00 for it (how can I go wrong).Plus the F150 has 50,000 miles on it and it is only two years old so it can stand to be parked for a little while.

I bought a 4X4 extended cab off the lot in 1986. It's got 435K+ miles on her. Been in the shop 1 time since I bought it.

4 cycl. 5 speed manny. Got 19 - 21 miles to gallon when I bought. Averages about 19, now. Has had 31X10.50/15 mudders since the stock tires wore out.

I average about 2 miles less per gallon with my F150. The big difference, gas wise, is the Toyota has a 13 gallon tank and F150 has a 25 gallon. Used to be $15 would fill up the Yota. Now it's close to $70 for the Ford. Sometimes more.

Toyota truck. Best money I ever spent.

So far.

I remember a full page Toyota truck ad in a magazine about a dozen years ago.

It had an old man standing beside an older Toyota truck.
The old man wasn't smiling and the truck was Canary yellow.

The caption read: "Make sure you like the color"
