Who's Debt Free?

Just thought I'd see who is still making payments, and who is lenjoying life without any payments. My truck and boat have been paid off since the day I bought them, but now that I'm in college, it's a lovely bill that I am racking up. What about you?

Debt free and seldom use credit cards. It was not that way when I was in college though.

My wife and I only have our house note, which we feel is pretty good for most folks in our age group. But I'll be paying on the house for many a moon yet -- unless I have a rich uncle somewhere with one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel!

I'm just waiting to get far enough along where when people hear what my house payment is, they laugh and say, "That's not a house payment -- that's a car payment!"

Unfortunately, we ain't there yet.......

I currently owe no money to anyone for any reason... I own my truck and my Explorer, and my fiancee owns her jeep... but then again we're living in an apartment... my goal is within a year or so to buy a house, it may or may not happen... then I'll have that debt, but at least thats a good debt to have .

I'm up to my eyeballs in goat payments.

I don't know who told me this was such a good idea.

All they do is stand there.

Go to the hardware store and pocket a pack of washers to use as spacers.

I got my truck paid off this last May. No other debts as of yet, although I know they're coming in due time. In the meantime, it feels good to have a little spending money for a change. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh...

I will be soon. My house is paid for and my land will be in March. Then I will be able to lump my payments up on my F150 and pay it off my the end of next year. I dont owe for anything else other than the truck and my land at this point.

Everything that I have, I own outright, including where I live and where I work. No payments for me...
