In a twisted way they get paid to take that bath.

 

I know some people like the place but I have no desire to ever see it again.

Went there for a Tyson fight. A friend got comped on the whole package because he was a regular gambler(loser). Tickets were $1500 ea and hotel was like $1600 a night. He lost at least $20,000 gambling after the fight. I was looking around at the other gamblers and no one was smiling.

I found the whole place to be plastic and totally cheesy. The women were either hookers or cold as ice. (BTW if you want to chase hookers go to a smaller town and you'll be treated like a king. In Vegas you are just another schmuck.... unless you're dropping $50,000 a night.)

The operation serves one purpose-- To shear the sheep

 

I wasn't looking for hookers or to gamble. I just went to get away from work and school for a few days.. blow off some steam and have some fun.

I stayed at Treasure Island.. $85 for wednesday and thursday and $109 for friday.. Pretty sweet!

I didn't find it plastic and cheezy.. I thought it was fun and refreshing. The achitecture and "over the topness" was great. The roller coaster at NY NY.. that was great. Free beer at 10 AM.. that was great.. Bums taking money out of public water fountains.. priceless.

I don't live in a big city and seeing a city like that is amazing, and fun.

I went to New york City a couple years ago and saw Times Square.. that was cool, but wasn't the same.
