Las Vegas is Awesome!
Las Vegas is Awesome!
I got back from a 4 day vacation to Las Vegas last night... I had a blast!
It's amazing how different things are compared to redneck West Kentucky.
I am amazed at how much money I didn't spend. I had been saving for quite some time, but ended up only spending around $450-$500 for me and my girlfriend. That included 3 shows, plenty of drinks and souvenirs.
Seen the Tournoment of Kings at Excaliber. Kinda cheezy, but still fun.
Seen Penn and Teller at the Rio. that was cool, even talked and had pictures with them after the show.
Actually got free tickets to Cover Girls.. That show was "ok".. not great, but not terrible. I lady bumped into me at Fremont street, spilling my free, comp'd drink and gave me two tickets to the show. Cool!
Lot's of cars/trucks you don't see often around here.. Tons of Hummers.. seen two SRT-10 Rams and some vipers.. Ferraris, and lots of corvettes.
Why does everyone think they have to stomp it at every green light? Light goes green and somebody always stomps it. I enjoyed it.
Over all, I had a blast.. I figured out how to get free drinks easily.. Go to a bar, sit down. Pull out a $100 bill and put it in the machine.. play only a couple hands of video poker or blackjack, and you get free beer and/or shots... have a few and walk away.. It was great.
Got lots of pics, but these two are my favs.
I first seen this guy acting weird, trying to take off his shirt or somthing.. So I took a pic..

then in he went after some change.... funny as hell!

Anyways.. I love vegas and I can't wait to go back.
Similar stories anyone?

Oops! I forgot.
I actually wanted one of those shirts, but they only had Size small and XXL... I fall in the middle somewhere.
They did have a couple funny cars at my hotel. Pretty cool. I think I was the only one laying on the floor looking under the cars :o .. I wanted to see the underside.

So is it different than West Kentucky because they know phrases like, "I Saw" or "I first saw?"
And You're a Vegas poser. Grow a pair and hit the tables.
LOL
if you didn't notice, this is a forum, not a writing contest. I don't give a rats behind if my english is proper.
Maybe you should take a week away from your elementary English class and go have some fun.
Why hit the tables?
"You've got to be your own man, not a puppet on a string." You don't have to hit the tables to have a good time in Vegas.
I'm not into gambling that much. I play 5 and 10 dollar games with friends and thats about it.

That guy in the fountain is probably a homeless Los Angelino vacationing in Vegas.
I'm about 300 miles southwest of Vegas...for gambling...I prefer Laughlin...better odds, better hotel prices...and the Colorado River is next door...so you can rent a boat, go fishing or just hang out...watching all the gals walk by in their skimpy bikinis!
Once the gambling and shows become boring in Vegas...there ain't much to do there...IMO.

Glad you had a good time!
I want to go some day soon!!
Don't worry about Urban Cowboy. I'm not a big gambler either.
And Dzervit $500 is alot of money to most people. Only spend what you can afford.

I've been a couple times and always had a great time. Where did you stay? I'd reccomend the Venecian or the Bellagio they are both AWESOME.
