Yeah I saw that a long time back. Smacking Stossel was totally out of line.

Wow. That's a pretty broad question you're asking there.

Do you mean "real", as in the Hegel dialectical phenomenology kind of thing, or in the less general "real" merely because it exists sort of thing, or real in that it is genuine?

Speaking of Hegel, I'd wonder if he'd like wrestling. I know I sure don't.

Edited to add: I crack myself up sometimes.

I ain't gonna lie, I like & watch wrestling. I've watching RAW as I type this. I will fully concede that the matches are contrived and have the winner predetermined in advance. Having said that, get in a ring, lie on your back, let a 280lb gorilla jump 10' in the air and give you a 5 Star Frog Splash. OOORRR, let the same 280lb gorilla BEND a chair over your head. Then let us know if it's fake.

KC-10 FE out...

Those chairs are flimsy. Anybody that can take a lick will do it for the money. It's just part of the show.

I used to work with a guy that wrestled for Smokey Mountain Wrestling (it's been 10 years ago) I don't know if you've ever heard of it. He said that he was called the masked psycho or something like that.

He said it's not real as far as actual violence, but the moves they pull off during a match takes alot of physical endurement and stamina. He said it's more like a stunt man trying to pull off a stunt. It takes lot's of practice to get it right, and until you do, some of the moves are painful.

He was like 35 years old then, 6ft-10in tall. But he didn't have alot of muscle. I beat him at arm-wrestling when I was 18. Not bragging or anything, but when he saw my double-biceps, he was like damn son! You need to go sign up for try-outs. But I never heard anything else about it. Must have made him mad that I beat him.

You crack me up sometimes too.

So, excuse my not using the search feature here, but what's the prognosis on your health?

Cancer has not spread. YEA! (At least as far as all the tests can reveal). It's only in one place. (Not that that's good, but it's a lot better than it could be).

Now it's time to decide who gets to do the surgery.

I've got it narrowed down to two doctors. I'm thinking of meeting the two of them together, sitting at a table with them side by side and then tossing a scalpel on the table.

If either of them jumps for it and starts laughing maniacally, I'm going to choose the other one to do the surgery. (If they both react that way, I'm going someplace else).

Well I'm glad to hear it's still in a single place. As far as doctors go, I don't envy you having to pick one or another. Seems like there will always be a lingering thought in the way of "Did I pick the right one?" I'd probably toss a coin, and call it good.

Please let us know when the surgery is. You're on the prayer list.
