Is wrestling real? Here's the answer.

But that is a lesson in life... never mess with a guy who had 6 older "tough guy"brothers. Guys like that grow up with a daily brotherly beating. Tough men that can take a lot of abuse.

This is very true.
Not to mention, you never know what to expect in the WWE.

Yep. Thats the guy. A very big man. But Bret Hart shut him up.
Of course, after watching "Wrestling with Shadows" I have to ask "is there anyone Bret Hart hasn't beat up?"
(I think Andre the Giant is probably the only one)

Yep, that was Vicious. I think that was in WCW when that happened.
The best wrestling was "Mid-South" wrestling.
Who could ever forget the night Jake's partner and this other big dude conspired to double cross Jake the Snake?
Jake hadn't been defeated in a long time as a solo wrestler, and in a tag team, then his partner turned on him. That when Jake started wrestling with Dr. Death...
And many many more. Two other wrestlers canme from NWA wrestling: The Nature Boy Ric Flair, and The Total Package Lex Luger.
They all eventually ended up in the WWF, but back in the Mid-South days, they were gritty. It seemed a lot more "real" than the WWF ever did.

BIGHERSH , Remember:
bruizer brody
Gino hernadez
jose latherio
abdulla the butcher
manager Playboy Gary Hart
i remember them all being in Houston wrestiling when i was a kid.
butch reed was one of the first guys that i remember seeing that looked like a freak (in a good way)
unlike today with 100 channels to watch, wrestling was the best best thing on in it time slot. It was on Sunday morning on channel 39 in Houston from like 10:30 to noon (replay of Saturday night 10:30 to midnight) i think it was the best thing on Sunday morning, it was that or a church show or a meet the press.

I used to go to the grocery store with my grandma as a kid just to read the wrestling and Horror magazines. Usually when I saw a pic of Abdullah the butcher, there was alot of blood. There's a few more older wrestlers that I remember. I remember the name Paul Orndorf, but I can't remember what he looked like. Bobby Henan, Arn Anderson, and the early Chris Benoit. I think they were called the four horsemen.
I loved The Road Warriors, Hawk and Animal. Oh man, you won't believe this... I just found out this year that my uncle Bub who lives in Ohio is next door neighbors with the Road Warrior Animal. No lie.
He said when he found out who he was, he went over and started acting like a little kid asking him to come over for bbq and beer.
I'm going to try to go up there next summer to meet him. Haha.
