Yes, wrestling is fake. All matches are scripted months before hand by people they call "bookers" they decide who wins the match and is the face (good guy) and Heel (bad guy). When wrestlers bleed they do it by blading themselves (cutting themselves with a small razor blade, or taking a blow to the head or face.) It has also been known for wrestlers to take aspirin before a match to thin the blood therefore giving the effect of a bigger wound, Though wrestling is fake I still enjoy it. I don't think its such a big deal really. I mean all movies are fake nobody denies that, so why should anyone have a problem with wrestling being fake. Trust me if it wasn't, we would just have guys with broken necks and arms all the time. Injuries these ATHLETES get are sometimes serious and require surgery.

That better UC?

No, I expected a rant about how athletic the wresslers are, not just an acceptance of the true nature and 1 line about them being athletes.

I think the title was called wrestling with shadows? About Brett Hitman Hearts time in the wwf and then to the wcw. It was a real insight of what goes on in the world of wrestling. Not a big fan of it, but I like shows like that. Kinda like the Beyond the GLory type shows.

The action may be real, but the actual match is choreagraphed complete with outcome, which means it's fake.

That's what we refer to as "bitch-slappin' " somebody...
I like Stossel, but wtf was he thinking asking a question like that? That's like asking a body builder if steroids really makes your ***** & knuts smaller; then asking to see it.

I'm not saying he should've slapped d'schyt outta John, but I understand...

Now, if I can just get Jerry Jones, Mark Cuban & Ross Perot to slap d'schyt out of me, I can start buying some of the cars I've dreamed of...

I bet if Iron Mike, instead of Stossel, would have asked that Wrestler if it was fake the guy would have done nothing..... Except politely reply. Pounding someone who can't fight back is just some weak S#$%.

I do watch pro wrestling on ocassion, those guys pull off some crazy stunts! Of course not wrestlers like The Rock, who did not want to get his face destroyed, but the ones like old ManKind did the insane stuff. No wonder he was missing teeth.

Mick Foley/Cactus Jack/Mankind (or whatwever) is old school. You should try to catch "[i]The Suicidal, Homicidal, Genocidal, Death-Defying Maniac, Sabu (aka Terry Brunk) in action. The guy is insane. Now, I'm not taking anything away form Mick. The dude has been there done that, but his time in the ring is long over due.

I saw that Sabu dude on TNA. He can do some crazy stuff. I think he'll pin The Big Show. Last week sabu jumped from the top rope with a chair and kicked it into TBS's face. Haha. I love to see the big guy get mad. TBS's manager doesn't want him to wrestle Sabu, which is why I think Sabu WILL beat TBS.

I hope so anyway. Dont get me wrong BigShow is the siht, but.....if the matches were real, he'd be unstoppable. 7 foot tall, 500+ pounds of hate...come on, man. Who's gonna pin a man that size. Someone that's the same size, or Kurt Angle.

I remember as a kid going and seeing hulk Hogan and Andrea the giant in a match in Lake Placid. Those guys missed each other buy a mile after that I never really watched it again. I here that the matches are a lot better today then they were then. I do enjoy watching Hogan Knows best on vh1. Now that show is funny. He had explained how fake wresting is now and that it’s not as good as the old days. I have tried to watch raw but man it just sucks compared the old days. You know the guys, that really made it a good show rather then the way it looks now, Bobby Henan, Jimmy the Mouth of the South, Elizabeth, then of course all the wrestlers of then too.

Hey, ya never know.

Way back when Tiny Lister was in WWF as "Zues" he threw his weight around in the dressing room. A very big man indeed. That is, until Bret Hart beat the shiznit out of him.

But that is a lesson in life... never mess with a guy who had 6 older "tough guy"brothers. Guys like that grow up with a daily brotherly beating. Tough men that can take a lot of abuse.
