did you see chevy.com lately.... they have the new trucks on. the vortec max 6.0 now has 367 hp. c'mon ford.... lets get a decent engine.

i agree, but i am pretty happy with the 5.4L. i think it has some good punch already in it. but a better one like that would be nice.....especially a diesal

This is our competition, I'd like it to stay here for what it's worth, hah. I like the new dash, those bastids. I need to see one lifted before I make my decision on whether I like it or not. I'd also need to drive one, these F-150's are officially outdated.

 

why you say they are outdated? they are showing how the new chevy has a power rear window and folding rear seats....we already had that haha.

 

This is the reason Ford upped the tow rating to 10,500lbs.. with out any changes to the drive train. they dont want cheeby stealing any sales from them.. the cheeby is fugly but the GMC model does not look to bad... I still would rather Have Ford or Dodge over cheeby any day unless its Z06

 

The 2007's Chevy trucks are the ugliest yet. No wonder they can't sell trucks... the cheapo interior hasn't changed since '95

 

OY! and the pre 95's REALLY sucked. My old man has a 94 suburban and the only thing good about the interior is the air-bagless steering wheel.

 

They were our "out of date" competition but they finally got a nice looking interior, and have always been quicker due to weight...with that 6.0...gosh. I want to see more of the exterior. What kind of front and rear ends are they sitting on?

 

are 6.0s offered in the 1500?

I had a 1993 Chevy Z-71 that I loved. Drove well and handled well.
