I was just speaking of the interior. Pop still drives the 94 suburban and it has well over 200,000 miles on it.

Yeah sorry about that. In the 2+ years I've been here, it begins to bug. I can only imagine how bad it bugs you, you have to be the one to search for and move these useless posts.

 

I had an 89 that was indestructible.

My buddy still drives the 93 he bought new.


They may be lemons now, but 10 years ago they were pretty damned solid.

 

Chevys are pretty darn good trucks, all I ever had until I bought my two Fords. Never had any major problems with any of them, but I just got sick of the same boring interior in each one which is why I decided to give Ford a try. So far, I've got to say I really like my Ford trucks, and I have to confess I like the Ford better even though I've only driven them a year and a half compared to almost 6 years driving Chevys. But a Dodge.....I'd probably buy a ricer truck before I bought one of those over-rated wastes of perfectly good scrap metal.

 

Dodge owners are funny. I got a good story tonight. My neighbor just bought a $58k Dodge 3500 Cummins Megacab, on 35x12.5-R20 Mud grapplers, put 25k cash down. Less than 4 hours after he bought it, I arrive home to see police surrounding my house. I was praying my truck was okay, thankfully he hit the neighbors 2005 lowered black chevy on 22's. He reversed into them, drunk off his ***. He went to jail tonight, it's about his 3rd DUI, 3rd car he totalled that I know of or so. This is amazing, I felt bad this silver Dodge was purdy, fox shocks all the way around...had fox plastic emblems everywhere (was like a fox edition...like our designation of an FX4). Sad thing is, he is taking himself away from his 16 year old kid Thoughts?

 

Yeah, I think the new chevy truck is ugly.

 

I'm not sure who these Dodge owners are. In 20 years of owning and driving, I only know one person that has bought more than one Dodge for themselves.

Everyone else it seems (I dont have proof, this is just observation) that buys a Dodge quickly goes back to Ford or Chev when ready to trade in.


Whatever is so great about the Dodge isnt enough to incent them to replace it with another Dodge.

 

The chevy is ugly, however I really really like the sierra denali. So much so that I have called a few dealers to go look at one when they arrive.

 

The only thing that the GM trucks have on everyone is the Allison transmission Ford doesnt have that kick *** trans and hell the Dodge camp doesn't know if they are coming or going.

1. GM has better transmissions.
2. Ford well I dunno what Ford really has but seems like the have funner
cars/trucks SVT BABY
3. Dodge will always suck no matter what the only good thing they have is
the Cummins diesel, their transmissions suck and so do their suspensions
look at the 1994 to 2002 4X4 trucks with the track bar issue almost
300 bucks a pop once twice a year. BTW the Viper isnt all that and a bag
of potatoe chips. THE FORD GT kicks that snake around. Even though the
Corvette will always be Americas sports car.

 

Heck, the new 150s look ugly sittin next to a 2007 Toreador red F-250 4x4 lariat diesel crew cab with 20' wheels and chrome package!! Did I mention the running lights?
