Yea basically. Aside from other clear benefits; you do it for yourself and for being a good person. You can look in the mirror and not question what you see. We're not talking physical looks here Jamzwayne.

Haven't you heard the saying, "How do you even look yourself in the mirror?" Or as my girlfriend says, "How in da f**k do ya' look ya' self in da mirra in the mornin." Right Lovetrucks?

Thanks SAJEFFC, I had a feeling it was something like that.

I took a sleeping pill last night to get a good nights sleep. I haven't been able to think clearly all day.....just read my post.

Very true.

I always enjoy reading Kobi's posts. Most of the time they are very interesting and educational....others, I have to read a few times to actually get. Regardless what he may say, he is a very bright individual.

This is from a mom-receiving-support view. I just went thru this same thing with my son's father. He didn't pay a thing for a year. I filed contempt charges on his back-end. The child support is a court order, if not carried thru, file contempt. I don't know about TX, but after 30 of no support you can file. If in the order, it states that he is to pay monthly, I can go on the 31st day and file.

everybody has a different story. There is no right answer. Child support and custody issues can not be generalized. There is no standard and the courts are biased. My wife cheated, moved a boyfriend into my home while I was deployed then kidnapped my daughters and ran out of state to her mom and dad with the boyfriend. Courts gave her custody because I'm in the military. I pay out the *** every month to support a household of jobless people. Is that right? Should I have to pay? Should a woman who takes a loving father from their children deserve anything but child abuse charges? I pay because my children deserve the world. I know that the money buys beer and smokes for her boyfriend and other stuff but I still pay. I hope that when the time comes the girls will know who did the right thing and will choose to come home. It's about the kids. Not the money. If you need the money then worry about it. If not, forget it and live your life and love the girl. Holding a grudge and being vindictive and fighting and bickering will only hurt your kids and line the pockets of your attorney.

At least your problem isnt as complicated as that poor kid's! He was being sent child support notices from 3 women & children who are older than him. Takes talent to knock up a chick before you're born, I'll give him that
It must have been an "inside" job...

turtle and jamz -

Thanks for the compliments. Now if someone would offer me a job that pays well just for being bright and wise I'd be set. Unfortunately no one (in terms of employers) seems to care about that.

Intelligence and wisdom in the workplace are dangerous. How can management pull the wool over the eyes of the wage slaves, when some wise-*** sees through all their machinations and spreads discontent throughout the workplace in the form of information and insight.

Don't ask me how I know this.

Does it pay? Yes, it does, but if you're looking for instant results or gratification, you'll be sorely disappointed.

And I got a shotgun. We can get some damn child support, come hook or crook.
