Given your parameters, my guess would be about 300 years.....

My daughter asked if I was fixing it up so I could race it against Daddy's truck but I informed her that I was fixing it up so we could drive it around wherever we wanted to (obviously not 4x4ing).

You dont have time for bed!!!
Get to the grage and get to work! Sleep is for the weak, un-driven, and un-inspired.

I would say the next time your hob-knobbing with Chip Foose, you should ask him to do some publicity work using your Torino.
If that doesn't work, then I'd vote to go back stock also. Torinos aren't known for speed without a big engine, and they aren't known for riding on rails either. Go stock and then enjoy the nostalgia!
My cousin Donna had a beautiful blue one just like yours with a 302, and it was great. We got 8 people crammed into it for a 90 mile drive to see Van Halen years ago, and it carried us well over the speed limit the whole trip. Very fun. She kicks herself now for selling it.
