I am outside of the city limits, in the hills. It is a a residential area, no side walks, no street lights, our own water system, septic systems. We have all kinds of critters. We have lots of critters and like all of them except the 2 legged ones. Need to get rid of those.

I agree.

See, now....that's the kind of place I am looking for right now. Taxes in the city limits are insane. I was raised in the country, and you now how the saying goes:

You can take the man out of the country, but you cant take the country out of the man"

True statement. I hate living in town. Although, I can't complain too much, it's sorda quiet in our neighborhood. I just need room for a garden, a chicken pen, and a nice shady place to raise a few doves.

There was a guy who worked for me (before I had to fire him) that lived in Corsicana, TX and drove to Plano, TX five days a week.

He had a nice house, and land, but fellaz, no way could I put up with that kind of drive, dealign with that much DFW traffic, 5 days a week... Not unless I was being paid $200,000 a year, then- heck, I'd drive to Killeen every day, until I could get back into the house I'm renting-out down there!

I have a 45 minute drive every morning (an hour depending on traffic), and there is no way in hell I could do that.

My wife wants to build a house on the old home place at Brownsboro. I want and need to work a few more years. One possibility would be to build a place there and have an apt here. Not the way I want to live. It is about 2 hrs one way.

Sell the land in Brownsboro to me at a really good price.
