There are "educated" Para-legals in the Military. $500 million is a small price to pay for the head of a man who has killed thousands of people including Americans, women and children.

My being a clerk has nothing to do with my personal interests.

Let me rephrase : He is hiding in a cave laughing at our fiscal irresponsibility.

$ 500 million is a ridiculous amount to pay for one man, especially when another will just take his place.

What could America do with $500 million.
That would buy 2.25 F-22 Raptors.

Can you believe that sh*T? 500,000,000 (That's eight zero's) will only buy 2 F-22 Raptors...

As much as I love the bird, now I understand why many people are saying we don't need it. Maybe we do need it, but we don't need it at that price. Now we're building/buying isht that we can't afford to lose in war. Five of those fockers cost as much as an Ohio-Class Nuclear Submarine, and 10 costs as much as a Nimitz class carrier... The B2 bomber is $2,100,000,000.00 per plane (One bomber costs as much as a Nimitz class Carrier). Folks; you think spending upwards of $2,000,000,000 to fix New Orlean's levees is a waste of money??? No, this is a waste of money./\/\/\

Especially when we have perfectly good B-52 (slated to be in service until 2047) that has been, and can continue to bomb the hell out of any enemy... None of them have been complaining...

Imagine how many Bradley's, and up-armored Hummers could be purchased for the cost of one F-22...

Am I the only one who sees a problem here?

Talk about the fleecing of America.

I'm glad we're getting it, but GOT-DAMM! Hey, someone should tell Lockheed this is a buyer's market now, not a sellers market. I'm sure can could "talk them down" to $60,000,000.00/plane; a far more reasonable number- as an "evolution" from the F-15/F-16.

I guess the JSF will be a bargain basement $95,000,000.00 if the ATF is $200,000,000.00 (F-15 used to be $30,000,000.00 and F-16 was $16,000,000.00)

I could not believe my focking ears when they said the Raptor (On last weeks show on Military Channel) costs America $200,000,000.00 per plane- whereas a new F-15 cost(ed) $30,000,000. The expert said, and I agree, that the F-15 and F-16 can be upgraded for more cheaply than the F-22 can be built.

For this reason, the F-22 was ranked #10 on the all time best fighters list; even though it has yet to (As far as we officially know) fire a shot in anger. The F-15 was ranked #2 (Undefeated in air-to-air combat, by Israeli, Saudi, and American pilots), but the all time (best) fighter, voted on by 60,000 people, was the P-51 Mustang...

The rating was at #10 due to no combat sorties...

2) Slick Willie already took care of that....See Mogadishu, Khobar Towers, USS Cole, Embassies in Kenya and Tanzania....Oh yea the great mess called the Balkans....

You are a twenty year old kid without a clue...

The President has NOTHING to do with oil/gas prices...you can thank Capitalism for that.
Your civil rights...? You have the right to be ignorant...isn't that enough?
