Here is the chronological history. I voted for Bush in 2000 and was proud of him in '01. In late 2002 he began to lose his mind. I pleaded for some sanity in 2003 but, the majority of the Country, judging from the GD forum, had a taste for blood. It wasn't pleasant being in the minority around here. It would have been so much easier to drap myself in the American flag and support kicking some ***, any *** with a turban.
I didn't vote for Kerry in 2004, I voted against Bush.
I guess dissenting voices were up against a sales pitch that was just too good. From the 'Swiftboat veterans for truth' to the Gay marriage hysteria to the Homeland Security threat level color guide to 'patriotism' carried to the 'enth degree.
Anyway, about my 'plan'. My plan was abandoned in March of 2003.
It's documented in this forum.

A sales pitched that seems to have duped many of americans.
500 million!?!?
From MSNBC re: Zarqawi
"Wednesday’s airstrike ended a hunt that involved hundreds of soldiers, spies, tipsters and intelligence analysts and cost more than $500 million, said Ed O’Connell, a retired Air Force intelligence officer who led manhunts for Osama bin Laden and top insurgents in Afghanistan, Iraq and Yemen"
What could America do with $500 million.
Bin Laden is sitting back laughing at our growing defecit. Takes them a few hundred if that to blow up a donkey that kills several service men.

I just think we need to stop fighting around the world & build up economically alot...maybe some pro-America campaigns too

Disagree with you part 1 of your comment.
I am with you part 2.

That's ridiculous...I didn't say give me your story, I said tell me what you'd do from HERE! You're criticizing the President on his actions so give us what you would rather him do...
So which aircraft carrier is Dub-ya planning to *land* on this time?
Don't worry usafpatriot1 and whoever else, it's just a joke.
Oh, I don't have a plan to offer up either.
ETA: Gotta give it up to the forces involved.

Also, "war keeps you in business"?...military industrial complex, might sound conspiratorish....but its very true. I'm sure you know how much companies over charge the government for stuff (war, nasa, ANYTHING), its pretty scary when war becomes so profitable. Go see "Why We Fight" (some independent-ish movie)...its pretty good.

I now see why you are a Law "clerk", if you want to debate, debate here. Bin Laden isn't laughing...he's hiding in a damn cave as he has been since 9/11. We will get him in time, however you are always free to help. There are "educated" Para-legals in the Military. $500 million is a small price to pay for the head of a man who has killed thousands of people including Americans, women and children.
