Why don't we all promise to wear something that say, "I support Our Troops" That would take the guess work out of it.

Vader; where did you go?
Now you're taking the same stance as Vadar, " I'm only one person, ,what difference can I make?" Do you not vote on that same principle?

:o So I should stop going up to random people asking why they're wearing white/black/green/blue/red shoes, white/black/green/blue/red pants, white/black/green/blue/red shirts, white/black/green/blue/red hats, white/black/green/blue/red socks, etc. ??

Maybe these uber patriotic folks can take their ribbon magnets off of their car/truck and staple them on their clothing. Or a pin that reads, "Ask me why I'm wearing red".

I will pay you to buy this pin. First I'll send you a check for $5,000, you cash it and keep $500. Send the rest back to me and I will promptly send your new "Ask me why I'm wearing red" pin. Sounds simple, huh?

Sorry gang had some work to do. But UC you are doing fine but I fear the point is missed.

Nobody (for the most part) has a problem supporting the troops.

Everybody gets these types of emails all the time and for the most part ignores them.

Given that I could send this email to about 50 people and they all decide to wear red....do you think anyone will notice?

The participation rate would have to be so ridiculously high to even raise an eyebrow that the cause has no real significance before it is started.

I'm not trying to stop on anyone's nice idea but I live in the real world not some idealistic place.

Here's a test for all the red wears tomorrow.....

For every person you see wearing red go up to them and ask them...

"Why are you wearing that red _____".
If you get even 10% referring to the email I'd be amazed. (And no don't do it to your fellow office workers).

Heck if you run into a military person ask them
"So how do you like my red ____"
and see if they respond....
"hey thats from the email...thanks alot"
Just because someone doesn't jump on this stuff doesn't mean they don't care. Wear your red, then when you get back unnoticed send operationac a donation.

You're right... Indifference on your part will make a difference to someone. If I can lift the moral of one guy over there getting shot at, then I've made a difference. Think about the logistics of the e-mail... For everyone you send it to, it increases exponentially. But ok, no one can make a difference, so why bother?

I was wondering why 'RED' also.
The post mentions 'red blooded Americans' but I kind of like the look of blood while it's still in the vein, under the skin. That color looks 'BLUE'. Blue would be a better choice than Red.

I would like to see the entire USA blue.
I'm not sure what is meant by the references to 'God' and 'liberal media' in the piece.

As an aside, I heard that referendums are planned to be put on the ballot in key States concerning 'Gay Adoption' this November?

The 'Gay Marriage' referendums worked wonders in 2004.

Anyway, everyone wear BLUE on Friday to support the troops.
