Talking !!!!happy Birthday!!!!

Today my truck is 10 years young. Its BOD was may 15th 96. I bought it with 6 miles on it and its now at 171,000+ and running and looking good for its age.
It still has OEM, plugs, wires, rear brakes, drums, clutch, u joinuts, battery, and it runs well. In all these years it has never left me stranded ever. I did have to replace the starter not to long agao because it simply rusted to pieces(road salt). I look forward to many more years of service from the ole 97. I was driving it 130 miles + a day for 8 years. Now i have to use the commuter to save on gas. But each day i fire him up for a country drive just down to the lake and let the dog swim. When i hear them magnaflows fire up its still brings a grin to my face.... aside from the rear bumper scar and a few scratches the truck is in great shape... Way to go FORD!!!

thanks for reading....Jim

If it ain't broke don't fix it. You can eat dinner off my engine, i take care of it i even wash between the bed and cab with a skinny brush.
Now i will change the plugs this summer and i will post pics of them and show what shape they are in after 171,000 and maybe even the rear brakes if need be.
