Would you support attacking Iran?

I wish I knew how to do a poll....

Everyday it seems Iran is getting a litle more hostile, as is our relationship with Russia. Ironically, Russia seems to be in bed with Iran, and today, we have found out that Iran has enriched uranium. Not enough to be a superpower yet, but, they certainly have the $ to get there, due to being the 2nd largest oil producing member of OPEC.

So, there were a lot of monday morning QB's with regard to Bush's decision to attack Iraq; I was for it, but I didn't want the surgically precise stuff that we did, and now the random targeting and picking off of our troops everyday. I wanted to go in, sweep the floor, and get it done like we should have in when I was there in 1990 - 1991.

So, here it is- different country, same problem, only this time, we are still bogged down in Iraq, still fighting in Afghanistan, and keeping a watchful eye on North Korea, with a shrinking force. Yet, we can't afford to let rogue nations start developing nukes, or things might get ugly for the world's most hated nation.

With that said, would you support a preemptive attack on Iran, should sanctions and diplomacy fail? Yes, or No please, then provide your reasoning, if you wish.

I'd vote YES. Send fifty high-flying B-52's over there with 108, 500 lbs bombs a piece (2.7 million pounds of ordanance), and bomb the crap out of their reactors, and military bases, and anything close by, and leave... Isreal style...

I don't have much tolerance for defiance...

Iran support terrorism. Kill them now before the become a bigger problem but do it properly.
Not Shock and Awe, just one big sonic boom and a big glass car park.

They have a right to produce nuclear weapons; who are we to say differently? Leave em alone unless they pick a real fight with Israel.

I would support the Democratic leadership in this country standing and taking a position and suggesting a solution, rather than sitting back and waiting for them to hear what the Bush administration decides to and listen to them say it is the wrong thing to do.

If you mean "nuke" when you say "attack" then I say go for it. And if a couple others were to go astray and demolish a few other countries due to our lazy American guideance system engineers than that wouldn't exactly break my heart either.

Look, I was over Tehran when I dropped those things.... atmospheric windshear must have taken them to Pyongyang, the north side of the DMZ and, to their reactor.

And I promise, I don't know how that otherone drifted so far West (Against the wind) and hit Baghdad, al I know is it's a good thing we told all the troops to leave yesterday.

I am all for making the whole mid-east a big glass parking lot. Or better yet let Isreal off of its chain and say "Sic 'em". Bye, Bye high gas prices. Then send the pictures to North Korea with a note attached that says, "So you still wanna play?"

If they attacked us with NBC weapons, yes, turn Iran into glass. If they attacked say France or Germany, who cares.

I too think that they have a right to produce nuclear weapons. I also think we should give them a hand. We can send a few right over there, and assuming they can catch them before they blow up, they can reverse engineer them to develop their own.
Now, who said that American never helped anyone out?

What about a draft?
There are ways to ramp up the forces... You know I've always supported the draft...

Besides, I'm not talking about an occupation, I'm talking about a 26 hour engagement, round trip, non-stop engagement. It's not like they have the Air Force or Nay to hit us back, and, it's not like we didn't warn them...

Why will no one take my advice??
Build a fence, no one goes in, no one comes out. Then when the dust settles, finish the job.
