Effects of midwest snowstorm and my truck...

Well First large about of snow all year long. I didnt even have the digital camera so i had to use an old film one and put the pictures on a cd at walmart. I was running late for class and i didnt have time to get my snowmobile out to take a picture with it. I have pictures of my 99 with my sled after we got over 24'' of snow last year. This round we got about 6 inches were 40 miles away they had over 2 feet. Ahh i love our grove....

Looks good!

All that snow, and not a snow flake to be seen on your truck!

6"?

Wimp.

We had 16" at home in Lincoln, but of course I got stuck just north of Grand Island, NE where they had 22".

Interstate closed? No problem, took a two lane highway home Monday Night...50-55 mph in 2WD all they way, made the usual 2 hour trip in three hours. Beats the heck out of staying in some church basement or overcrowded hotel...

Never had to put it in 4WD...dammit!

Yeah we always seem to miss our on the snow in northwest iowa. I should get a picture scanned of my 99 after the 2 feet of snow. My truck got its oil changed the day before so ford washed it for me haha. Its not the greatest job but they got most of the dirt and salt off it.

Nothing better than pine trees with snow on the branches...Especially snowmobiling in Wyoming!

Poor you, ya wimp, you got snow on your tires. I feel your pain I wish I could be up there in that stuff. We got like 6" at home, the most snow we've gotten all year, and I'm not even there to enjoy it. I get home tomorrow (Friday), and I'm sure my truck will be filty. Luckily, I have a nice start on my tan though.

The recent snowstorm/freeze here in Colorado left me with a cracked windshield.

He's right. A few friends and I went up to winter park this past feb and landed over at TecAir. I expected to see snow everywhere when I looked out the jet and didn't see a lick of snow except on the mountain peaks. When we took off in Little rock it was about 58 degrees and when we landed it was about 55 degrees.

No. Weak winters around there too, huh? Must be global warming.

Winters here in the mitten have been pretty lae for the last 20 years or so... I remember as a kid having multiple snow days every year, horrible weather from Halloween to Easter.... Now, I get a longer boating season.

But I digress.... just bein' a smart-alek, that's all.
