Granted, while he's not aging well, that was about the worst pic of the bunch.

They ran the 'worst' pic in my paper, too. Showed the pic to one of my co-workers and asked him to guess who it was. He had no idea. I told him it was Eddie, and he said NO WAY. Made me show him the caption before he would beleive me.
He looks horrible. I thought it was an 80 year old woman at first. Maybe Judge Judy without makeup.
When I looked closer, I noticed a resemblance to Hugh Hefner. In drag, wearing a wig. Not a look I ever expected Eddie Van Halen to adopt.

I rememebr seeing Van Halen on the Balance tour. What a disappointment. Eddie couldn't move because of his bad hips. Michael was 50 lbs overweight and had trouble moving. Alex have to have a roadie put a horse collar on him (too many years of banging his head to keep tempo)
Sammy was the only one moving around and being an entertainer. And the dumbasses in the band let him quit. And sorry for anyone who doesnt like it... but Sammy was the best thing to ever happen to the band.
