I have a 125,000 btu natural gas heater in the garage. My wife keeps the house at 65 and I keep the garage at 75. It's either that or we take the vehicles to the garage. I do all my work unless it's computer related. I did my sons rear main seal on his Jeep. The dealer wanted $1200. I did it for under $100 which included a new oil pump. Plus when you do the work yourself you always have an excuse to buy new tools.

I do have a 1956 working Pepsi machine in my garage. It has a 10 cent sign on it. It works like new. I'm repainting it and it will then be filled with beer. But it will cost my buddies 10 cents!

when i had my 57 chev i made a friend who also had several 55-57 chevs.
He had several shops, the house shop was where all the good stuf was.
His house was retro to 1950's. old appliances flooring, arborite table every thing was vintage and in restored or NOS shape. Working coke machines,
the swivling picture tube old TV. all kinds of strange things, he was a little of the wall kind of guy. had a urinal on the wall in one of the shops.

Sure! You and the Brewdude. I was in his area last night. I swear that I have never seen a yellow F150. I'll have to take a drive through Stone Harbor to see if it's there.

Urinal is good to have! My wife doesn't like it when I come in the house with greasy hands. We are looking at building another garage that I could put a lift in. I plan on having a bathroom in it.

May i sujest a hide-a-bed... I build a shop for a friend and he spent so much time there it became a standing joke that he would rather sleep with the current projects than in the house. He could take a basket case 55-57 chev/ford from a shell to a driver complete ( paint and ready to sell) in two weeks. an amazing guy. He brought a 55 chev convertable in the back of a pu truck ( several loads) had a proper frame and drove it out in under three weeks ready for sale.. He also worked two or three days a week as a mechanic.

Someone once told me years ago I didn't need a house. He said I needed a 6 bay garage with an apartment above it.
