there is a plaque on the back of the hatch that says "Family Ford" This car was an impulsive buy so to speak, by the time I talked with the seller on the phone, I was pretty sure of it's condition. Had I known anyone that lived up there was around, I may have enlisted help. Thanks for the offer.

Closer, I am putting a new paint job on the 86 T-top, new top seals and new flowmaster exhaust system, then I will be prepared to wheel and deal it. It will look exactly like a new one, including new emblems and decals.

myltlpny, Yes, I also have the Windveil blue 05 GT in the background, I love yours, especially the scoop. I am doing silver painted LeMans stripes on mine.

Urban cowboy, I had to modify the trusees in my back garage for clearance on this lift, it's no big deal, just build a new truss next to your old one with 2x8 boards and cut off the old one. I just got the lift set and bolted down today, I have to wire it up and I'll be able to lift even my F-250 6' off of the ground.

thrill racing, I just turned 33 today. I did nothing but work for years and have been very fortunate. I am grateful to be able to enjoy an expensive hobby. It was a dream of mine since I was a kid.

Ok, I used my lift for the first time last night. I had the flowmaster exhaust and the fuel filter changed on the 86 GT in about one hour. Tonight I am gonna do a tranny service, shocks, stabilizer link kits and if time permits, I am gonna clean and degrease the entire bottom of the car.

Cool!

Just though how you plan to "clean and degrease the entire bottome of the car" in your garage? Maybe you can help me clean and degrease a K-frame and tranny...

I am gonna use some soap and oven cleaner and some good old fashioned elbow grease. My garage is a detached garage behind my house. I can hose off the bottom of the car and hose the floor off when I am done. There no drywall or anything to worry about. I even thought about using a small electric pressure washer.

Might I suggest a great place to get your decal? I got mine here, and they even featured the car on their site for a while
