New Toys

I bought a few new toys lately.

One is my 1993 Mustang GT with 972 original miles.

No lottery for me. I've been lucky in real estate. I can't believe how inexpensive these lifts are. I am always working on or restoring something, this will make some of that much much easier.

Nice Mustangs!

my brother has a 1988 Mustang GT with the 5.0 in white, that thing is mint! Over 180K almost and still purs going down the road! The only thing I don't like on it are the damn rattles, that car rides like it has no shocks lol

I do love the American muscle cars though!

Umm, I need more pics of the 86. Thats one car Ive been looking for for a while but can never find one in good enough condition. Its prolly one of my favorite ones of all time. I had an 89, 92 and an 02..and who knows..maybe and 06 here in the near future. So if you decide you have to many cars to play with and want to sell the 86, let me know.

Don't hate the player, hate the game.

Brew, you would love the 86. 110K miles, original Florida car, interior is perfect, everything works perfect, it's a nice car. The only thing I don't like is that it's an automatic. Oh and it has freezing cold R-12 AC. I am painting it and putting new exhausts on it and a few other things, then I am gonna sell it and find another something to play with for a while.

Hmm, automatic..yeh, that kinda stinks. But non the less a beautiful car. After I read your post I spent about an hour on ebay looking for an older Stang. I need something to go fast in and to give me a little project. Maybe an 01 or 02 Cobra..now that would be nice...actually the 92isgh Cobras were pretty sweet to. Ahh hell, I love 'em all.

Actually, I bought both of mine off of Ebay. I paid more for both than I wanted to, the 93 I am saving as a collectible, and the 86 for playing with and needing another easy project to do. I am right in the middle of restoring my 66 Mustang, I get burned out without a "filler" job. I bought the lift to more quickly get past some of the long parts of the restoration and to put the exhausts on the 86, and service trannys without making a HUGE mess. I love cars. My newest prediction is that the 79-93 GT's will be the next big collectible. They are damn hard to find that aren't nearly ruined.

For those that are interested, the 93 is from Pennsylvania. A guy bought it and his wife passed away a few weeks later. He just never got around to driving it anymore. He fell ill recently and I bought if from his nephew on Ebay. It will take me awhile to realize the investment, but what the hell. You don't find many original under 1000 mile cars like this. The only things that aren't original to the car are the tires, and the battery, and of course oil changes. It has the original air filter, it smells new, has the window sticker, all of the spark plug wires are dated 1993. I also have all of the original keys with the punch outs for remakes along with an unopened cargo net and never used sunroof pouch. The car has every option except leather. I was actually looking into a 93 Cobra but there all over the place (not Cobra R) but as it turns out something like this is harder to find and has less miles and is even better kept than a lot of Cobras. You could lick the bottom of this car.

I also plan on showing it, I'll have to trailer it. I don't want it to break 1K
