1996 mercury Sable before I bought 04 F150

to this day I have yet to see another Mercury Sable all decked out like I had mine to be before I traded it for the 04 F150.

I found this pic after cleaning my room today (sorry its a little blurry, my scanner isn't working so I had to take a picture of a picture)

in case your wondering what size rims these were, they were 20 inch Deoblo with only like an inch of rubber on the tires! lol It rode like hell with those things!

That car was mint inside and outside with 2 12 inch subs in the trunk all pinoneer with an entire new paint job after I hit a pole and I only got 1,500 bucks for it after I traded it in with EVERYTHING!

First of all, you hitting a pole doesn't surprise me at all.

Second, if the dealer knew then what he knows now concerning you, you'd probably have to give HIM $1500 for him to take it in on trade.

Some brotha' that used to live in my apartment complex in Tallahassee had one of those on 22" rims that was painted candy purple. I don't know what he had in there but I could hear it from the main road, and he had more TVs than Circuit City up in there.

well during the time I had that Sable, I felt at the time I wanted some bling and to stand out from the croud! Would i do it again now?? no way! I had my fun with it, but it was way to ghetto now that I look back on it.

It was a fun car to have and that paint job for a 96 was way nicer then the black I have on this Mountaineer now. That Sable had a Gold Matalic sparkle in the black paint which shined up like no tomorrow, unlike my plain black which doesn't look as nice as I have now.

I traded the car in with 100K on it and it was running very strong yet without any problems, but traded it for the F150 since I fell in love with the F150s when they came out in 04.

I forgot to add that I also had those LED lights under this thing lit up in Red at night! lol also Neon front and back License lit up in red with LED washer fluid lights! lol this thing was crazy at night!

I miss this car a little bit since it was one of the cars I never had a problem with.

Nice ride, were you able to get the honeys with it? A little smaller rims, and some tint and it would have looked better.

Thats Not Your Car

I dont think that is YOUR car, Neighbor. YOUR car is the red one in the background in your first picture!!
My mom has nice 2002 Sable, not a single problem with it.

That was a close one I was getting ready to ask when the last time you had your eyes checked.
But in all seriousness, I have seen worse, it is a sad truth that I must accept.

well, I worked with what I had to work with, it was my only car at the time, so I figured I'd do something normally a person would not do to a Mercury Sable lol

I should have put the orginal tires and rims back on and took out the system before trading it in and sold it on e-bay or something. The dealer I traded it in really screwed me big time

Dealers hate aftermarket stuff generally, too much of a liability issue
