I've made mine

1. Jump (started from jumping on their beds)
2. Run
3. Move a pile of house bricks back and forth in the yard
4. Arm Circles
5. Pushups
6. Situps
7. Squat thrusts
8. On their knees
9. On thier knees with their hands up
10. On their knees with their hands up holding an object (such as a book)

All of this, as stated earlier, will ensure that by the time they are 15, they will all whoop my ***. I have three boys, so I'm in trouble....
I've also had other parents take my ideas and use them. But I do believe in spanking, and my older two (4 1/2 and 6) are no stranger to the belt.

I will do the same, but I wont "beat" my child. A spanking is a great teaching tool. IMO.

Concur. Beatings have no place in child raising. Wife, maybe, but kids, no....

As a matter of fact, all of that came from me not wanting to be seen as an abusive parent, especially in this day and age. So those are my 'hand-off' correction techniques, with the threat of a spanking backing it up.

Yeah, I have a 17 year old whom for the most part I have raised; but because I didn't get him when he was young, I didn't ge to break him in like he would have otherwise gotten.

I'm the only one in the family he truly fears, but, he will try me every now and then. The big guy doesn't get upset often, but he knows when my voice gets raised, or goes up a few octaves, I'm about this close from busting his ***!

Had he been my son, he'd be crapping me tiffany cufflinks when I told him to do something, but, because he's by brother-in-law, I never rode him like he needed.

But, my being in the Army has made him strong. This young man has been in the front leaning rest for upwards of 30 minutes, 100 push-ups without stopping (because stopping = *** whipping), flutter kicks, side-straddle hops, hand-over-head claps, running in place, sit-ups, you name it...

Then, when I tell him to carry-on, I make him thank me for conditioning his mind and body...

Damn! I wanted to be a drill sergeant!
If he ever gets froggy, I would have mopped the floor with his young butt, but, my little man has my genes, so he's gonna be big & strong too; the difference is, I'll be 51 when he turns 15, so I gotta make sure he's punked while I'm still capable of whipping his ****, not when he's 17 and I'm 53...

I think he'll have the upper hand then...

My dad's 50, and I'm 18, and there's no doubt in my mind that he could still whip my ***. We joke around here, and manners are ok. My little brothers don't say sir or ma'am, or at least that I know of, but they will say "excuse me" or "may I please be excused" and of course "thank you" and etc. They have been taught to shake hands when meeting somebody new, say nice to meet you, etc. A good whipping will always keep a kid inline. Some kids just need to be hit. Just one good whack will fix them.
