Bi*ch, bi*ch, bi*ch, gripe, gripe, gripe.

GEEZ.

Look, most of us here (me included) are TRUCK GUYS.

I am a truck enthusiast (SP?), and I like trucks. That means ALL TRUCKS. Now, I bought my F150 because it was the best of the 4 that I test drove. I too, do NOT bleed Ford Blue, but now that I own a ford and I am rather fond of it, I have some Ford Blue flowing in my veins.

My dream truck is and will always be the 2003 Ford Lightning. I don't own one because I cant afford one. But, rest assured, I will some day. That maybe 15-20 years from now, and I might end up driving a new chebby, or even a TOYOTA someday, but that doesn't change the fact that Ford is an outstand truck, it's just what fits my budget, azz, and wallet at the time.

Post away I say. The more info we have on this site about TRUCKS makes the site that much more enjoyable to me. A true truck man doesn't just desire one brand of truck. I even like the look of Mitsubishi's new toy. Who knows, it just might be my next purchase, but that doesn't mean I wont come here. If I have a technical question about my new truck, I will seek the help elsewhere, but my home is here.....you guys rock.

Yes, even you Mattoneer.

Makes me not want to read as much. Matter of fact, I'm only reading maybe one out of ten threads here now. Same old crap, different day.

Japan Inc is now feeling what the US does.

Samsung is now outselling Sony. Hyundai is now poised to start taking chunks out of Toyota (as they did to Ford and GM)

Korea Inc is the next one to watch.

Um, Mountaineer-
Did I start this thread?

Nooooooooo..... I commented on it.

Yep, I started ish about the Titan because, like I said, I love Nissan products. But, this Toyota seems to be nice too.

I've been on this board a Loooong time. These guys know me- and whether they agree with me or not, they know, for the most part, I don't put out a lot of arbitrary BS. My BS can be defended. I won't provide you a bibliography though... If you think what I say is wrong, prove it...

If the fact that Yota builds a good truck (and cars), and having someone state what should be obvious "wilds" you up. Then, who really has the problem?

I want Ford to build the best cars and trucks... But, until they do, I'm gonna talk s**t about them. If they happen to be looking at the threads, I hope they read every word.

I have confidence in them; and the US manufacturers, but, until we start buildign better stuff, the S**t-talking will continue.

Truth be told, if I could justify within myself, the purchase of a near 50K truck, I'd be driving a Loaded flareside GMC Denali C3, flareside with the 6.0L V-8.

It's not a Ford, but, it is MADE IN AMERICA!

My truck was assembled in Canada, does that mean my FORD F150 is foreign?

Well, now that the subject has been raised again, Toyota does make a pretty good automobile......so does Honda.

Honestly though, I don't get it. What is wrong with talking about and complimenting another Brand? I said this before, God forbid someone say another company makes a better car than Ford on here. If they do, they are a traitor or Un-American. There are some people here that think you shouldn't own anything that is not made in this country. Should I send back my 4 Sony TV's, stereo, Phones...etc because they were not made in the USA? Look around your house and see how much of the stuff you own that is made in another country. If you do own any of this stuff, are you Un-American too? Hell, if I got rid of everything I owned that was made in another country, my house would be empty. Why do I buy these products you ask? The same reason you do, so you don't spend 100's or 1000's of dollars on a product just to find out it's a piece of crap when you get it home. If you can buy a Sony TV, why can't someone buy or compliment a Toyota truck without getting torn apart? I say people should be able to talk about ANYTHING they want in the "General" section of this forum.

Very well put Randall.

Like I mentioned. I like trucks. I don't hate any other truck out there. Well, the Honda is sorda goofy looking, but that's my opinion. I like the Dodge Viper and the Dodger Challenger (I think it looks freaking outstanding). Does that make me "wrong" for liking a Dodge product and not Ford's?

It's ridiculous if you ask me.

I made the same argument years ago...

Some of these same guys whining about people complimenting a Toyota, have a Playstation in their house, along with a Toshiba laptop, A Sony TV, a Hitachi VCR, and more...

Nice statement, 100% true...

LOL-
Yep, wait until those $2,000 Chinese cars hit our dealerships...
You'll see how loyal people are to the "Made in America" motif.
