Hey Mattineer, yep, I agree, I am tiered of all the foreign vehicle talk on here. I am also tired of all the "fourm" talk. Whew!

Bill Ford's new mission in life is to beat Toyota.
Think we can get there? I DO!

Go Ford! Toyota blows!

Well, you didn't say Super Duty...
Nope, I doubt Yota's gonna build anything to match that... Yet.

Mercedes & Nissan can, but, I doubt Toyota has that on their agenda. Japan takes baby bites; slowly but surely eating all your pie... It might be another 12 years, but, sooner or Later, there'll be a Tundra 2500 & 3500, with a 1.4L 700 HP, 900 lb. ft. torque 4-cylinder diesel engine.

Look how long it took them to get a serious full-size truck... But, when it came out, it was everything a (light-duty) truck should be, in 7/8ths size.

I'm not Pro-Yota, I'm Pro-Nissan; but- I have to call 'em like I see 'em.

Japan Inc, is in the business of putting everyone else out of business.
Remember when tv's and stereos were made in the USA?

Pro Nissan? God bless ya. Their Titan trucks are still unproven in the long run.
We will find out how their truck bodies, frames and motors hold up to real world abuse. (they don't make a work truck)

We lost the edge in electronics because we felt that by insulting the Japanese products, informed Americans wouldn't buy them. (Wrong) Now Sony is kicking everyone's ****... (Look out Sony; Korean LG is nipping at your heels)

So are the 2004 F-150's.
History is no guarantee of success.
Being new at something is no guarantee of failure.

We're losing the auto wars because our cars don't match up...
Wen we build better products, we'll get our customer's back...
We have to quit tryign to aspire to meet the standard set by the Japanese.
We have to set the standard... A new and higher standard.

We still do it in trucks, why not in cars?

The reason for that is way back, anything and everything coming out of Japan was junk; tools, electronics, clothing, etc. After getting trashed for having junk, they stepped up thier quality control on thier export products. My dad is 65, some 10-15 yrs ago he wouldn't touch anything from Japan. Now when he buys tools or electronics and such, he looks for nothing but products made in Japan. He doesn't mind paying a little extra for these products because he knows they are superior than the *Made in the USA* products hands down.

Guys,

don't get to wild up about what BIGHERSH says on here about the Toyota Tundra. Now that I have been thinking about it, this is the same guy who used to start crap abotu the Nissan Titan when he first joined the Forum. He later on admitted, he likes the attention he gets out of people by wilding them up about another truck. He is now doing the same thing, but now he is talking about the Tundra instead of the Titan. His talk is crap and he does it to wild us up. Does it work? Yes it does. I totally forgot myself that he was the guy who admitted he liked doing this to wild us all up. So don't mind him anymore, he will say what ever it takes to get his attention rolling and wild us up.

The Toyota threads don't bother me at all. What does bother me is this phrase showing up in EVERY DANG THREAD I READ ON THIS FORUM:

"This message is hidden because mountaineer02v8 is on your ignore list."

Makes me not want to read as much. Matter of fact, I'm only reading maybe one out of ten threads here now. Same old crap, different day.
