how does that work? Is it like an mp3 player? or is it through the web?

the V cast television was why I was leaning towards RAZR

You subscribe to V-Cast, which I think is $15 per month. They gave a free 15 day trial period. Then you can download anything from the net you want to pay for. There are controls on the front of the phone to use it as a player, you don't have to open the phone.

so I pay 15 a month plus the cost of the song

That was my understanding. And, you could have up to about 100 songs stored. I did not check into it, but I assume you can email yourself songs from your computer, or download using a cable.
