Just picked mine up last Friday. Verizon service. $100 after $100 rebate for new every 2. I notice in the center of my office building on the 2 of 5 floors, little to no service. My old V60 with the stub antennea had service. Out in the country, about the same. I was out of range yesterday and it sucked the battery down pretty quick, just like all other Verizon phones. Verizon doesn't switch to analog around here I don't think. It just goes to no service until you pick up another digital tower.

As for the razr, I don't like the fact that it does not leave on the date/time on outside screen. Seems some early versions left that on while the wallpaper blanked out. I don't wear a watch and I am used to using my cell for that purpose. You now have to push a button to bring up the outside screen.

Other than that, it seems to be a good quality motorola product.

I've had mine for a little over 2 months. No problems with the Razr. Small, light, nice display, bluetooth and good battery performance.

The only complaint I guess is the keypad. Sometimes my fingers push more than one button when texting.

I have heard there are differences between the black, silver, and pink razr (besides color). Is this true??? If it is, then why? If not, I got some butt kicking to do.

I'm sorry, it is the a950. I didn't like the keys on the Razr. I was considering another Motorola, then saw the Samsung and just liked the feel of it better.

lol..ok I have been looking at that one also. Who is your service through? How is the overall functionality and design? Does it seem rugged?

Seems very rugged, I think that was why I liked it. Plus, the guy selling it had experience with it out in the Burleson area and guaranteed it would get good reception. I have had a problem with my LG out there. My service is with Verizon.
