Happy Friday the 13th

Well its the dreaded Friday 13th. Luckily I will be sleeping all day so not much can go wrong, unless I dont wake up.

Anyone believe in this stupid superstition?

I did know a family friend that was cursed on sat the 13th. Alot I think he brought on himself though. He was a clutz...

I was born on Friday February the 13th. Yet I believe in a few superstitions like walking under a ladder or breaking a mirror, I do not believe in the Friday the 13th being bad luck day bullcrap. I guess I'm semi-superstitious.

I'm with Peace... I'm semi-superstitious. Hubby was in a major motorcycle accident on Friday the 13th and was in a coma for a week so of course that always sticks in my head when Friday the 13th rolls around. Other than that, I don't walk under ladders or open umbrellas in the house.

Sorry to hear about the hubby Racerchick.

On another note, I think if you don't believe in the particular superstition it will not effect you. Just like Voo-Doo, you have to believe in it for it to take effect on you. For example, I don't believe if you cross the path of a black cat, your gonna die tommorrow. I bet there's 10 million black cats on Earth. That's enough bad luck paths to kill the whole world. Lmao!

There was a solid black cat that ran across the road in front of me while I was in my truck about two weeks ago. It ran across the road right exactly where a woman was killed in an accident last Summer on a blind corner. There's even a little bouquet of flowers on the side of the road where it happened. Did I freak out? To tell you the truth...Hell yeah! But just for a second.

But nothing bad has happened to me. Knock on wood three times and cross my eyes.

Well you know Friday the 13ths are the only day that bad things ever happen to me out of the entire year.

Sleddoggss.. your are correct.. it is stupid. I was born on the 13th, and my fondest birthday memories are Friday the 13th B-days. Ahhhh, the blood sucking, virgin sacrafices and lamb slaughters... good times, good times indeed.

What you have to worry about is Saturday the 14th......and its a full moon too. I know that it sounds stupid, but I work in an ER on the weekends, and when there is a full moon, we don't get any rest, and we see all of the wierd crazy stuff that you wouldn't normally see.

It dosent sound stupid.
Lunar phases have long effected humans I can't remember the physical effect that it has. But it has been proven to have but it has to do with the gravatational pull, the weather and the atmosphere working on the psyche.
