Exploding Processor

These ******** overclocked their CPU.....removed the heatsink....and BOOM!!!....no more CPU....

Thanks! That reminds me, I need to go get a new power supply; mine started smokin like a bonfire last night.

I don't think so....that looks bogus....

They likely had m-80 or something under the table that blew the thing apart...I've overclocked and melted processors and other than getting really hot and discoloring there is no pop like that....

I guess its possible but it is probably fake...

The hole in the table always made me question that video. That would have to be some serious preasure to make that happen, and the motherboard didn't even flinch.

I take it back the motherboard did jump a little. Whatever, it was a waste of a good processor either way.

If it is fake.....i am thinking that they shot it with a bullet......either way....that I agree with VG....a definte waste of a perfectly good CPU......

Went to Comp USA....$99 for a power supply? You've got to be kidding me. Internet shopping time.

I know what you mean.....I have an eMachine T2682 here and the Power Supply went out on it.....$45 for the crappy thing.....

Yeah, I like newegg.com They have power supplies starting from less than $10 up to hundreds of dollars.

If you look it is sitting on top of the HD, there is nothing in that slot.

First video.. I have blown up a processore years ago.. I plugged it in backwards. They do pop but nothing to that magnitude.
