Hey, I'm just pointing it out....that's all. There are crooked people everywhere, some are Cops, Lawyers, Doctors and DMV employees.

For the record, I don't think any of the above listed professions are crooked.

Its easy enough to do even if you arent a DMV employee or cop....

Heck the Internet allows you to do it for $50 bucks or less....

At a CPA meeting where a speaker came in and demonstarted the lack of security on the net, he showed how anyone willing to spend about $50 could go into public records and get an amazing amount of info. He went into Dallas County Property tax records and got Ross Perot's house blueprints or layout, the number of licensed drivers in the household and the number of vehicles registered there. He was demonstrating what a burglar could learn about a residence. it was a little scary.

yeah, they have since made that illegal. A guy in my department was going on and on about his $300,000 house, how he pays cash for everything, etcetera... One of the guys went into the Dallas County Appraisals, and pulled up his house. He's paid $95,000 for it in 1995. It was worth $179,000 (Which is a good thing) but, by no mans was it a $300,000 house. They had the whole thing, floor plan, square footage, lot number, lot size, cost of the land, cost of the structure...

And, it was free.

Utilizing a similiar system I got the addresses for: Troy Aikman, Deion Sanders, Tony Dorsett, Michael Finely, Darryl Johnston, and many other sports icons, then we'd ride around and look at their houses. Especially when family or friends came over, to show them how many well known people lived within a few blocks of me.

Many of them live in the same area, or own multiple homes (Mark Cuban), but we just ride around to see how the millionaires and billionaires live.

A few live in gated communities, but some do not.

PS- the site was free.

I made a vow to myself to quit this argument because it is essentially pointless. . .No comment. . .

I just saw this post, when I saw the GN's and thought "Have I clicked on TB.com?" I have an 87 GN myself, garage queen, and if I put a 1,000 miles a year on it then I've done something.

That's what I'm TALKING about.
