I use Napster. I used Napster back in the day before that Metallica dude raised hell about it, and today I don't mind paying for it.

I've only tried looking at newsgroups once or twice, but never could figure it out. I tried getting to Neal Boortz's newsgroup but it said it didn't exist.

It might be that the new service (ie. ou isp new server) didn't subscribe to that group. I didn't even know there was a boortz NG.

If you're looking to download files off newsgroups, you need to use a news reader that deals well with binaries. X-news is a good free reader. There's lots of others around that work also. Outlook and other various email programs do not make good news readers. FYI.
