Best site to download music?
I'm looking for the best site, pay or free to download some random songs without having to buy the complete album. Where do you guys go, and what does it usually cost? Is there any file sharing/virus risks?
The problem with some of the file sharing stuff is that the industry has put some F'd up songs out there, you get them downloaded and about 30 seconds in they are all F'd up
unscramble these and this is a site I have seen used occasionally. niW xM

I heard xxxx was good, but afraid to download. Had xxxx and had nothing but problems. I'd be interested in the answer to your question too.
Edit: Am I not supposed to mention names?

www.allofmp3.com I repeat www.allofmp3.com This site has tons of stuff, all for about $0.02/MB. I download full albums, at 320kbps mp3, and only pay about $1.80. Good stuff!

Thanks guys...and I don't mind paying....I really don't want some nit wit investigating me because I was too cheap to buy a song...then they would take my computer, and all my ****!!!! hahahahahahaha!
I thought Rhapsody was pretty good...
I listened to a lot of "free" stuff on there, but never downloaded anything...
I hear Kazaa is in a ton o trouble with "The Law".
People used to have whole movies out there. One of my cousin's friends had a bootleg copy of Star Wars: Episode II in March 2002 and the movie didn't come out until May 2002.

It still amazes me the amount of stuff on newsgroups. You could spend days downloading with a 5mbit connection and fill up 5 300gb hard drives and still not get all of it. Of course, a lot of it you don't really want.
