svermill,
If you really want to know this cameras abilities in color, sharpness, and clarity!

Look at these to links to the original pics, "I hope you dont mind that I host and post these BREW". I just had to share them, they are tooo good!
But if you do then let me know and I will take them down.

Definatly not 56K friendly! But still worth it if you are on 56K and have an extra 10 mins.

(note: If you're using Microsoft Internet Explorer and you want it to fit on your screen. Click on the remove frame from the lower left hand corner and Internet Explorer will resize it to fit in the viewable area of you browser. It won't change the actuall file, just the way you see it in Explorer.)

That is amazing. I'm definitely going to shift gears on my camera search. The clarity is pretty hard to believe. I think the skill of the photographer plays a big role in this, but the camera obviously is where the potential lies waiting to be leveraged.

I'm not Lariat....
I do not subscrive to any photography magazines, but I have bought several Shutterbug magazines off the self and have both enjoyed and learned alot form all of them.
You can view many of thier articles online here, http://www.shutterbug.net/

Here is another site I browse thru ocasionally too. http://www.naturephotographers.net/index.html

I've thumbed thru this magazine a few times but always choose the shuterbug instead. http://www.outdoorphotographer.com/

Me too, only I take most of my scenic that would be suitable for framing photos with a 35mm SLR. My digital doesn't have good enough resolution for printing enlargements for framing. But I have fun with the SLR anyhow!
