$275 is super cheap for any over/under. My experience with guns is usually a good over/under is going to set you back $1000 minimum. Of course, if you shoot it and like it, then get it.

Oh I definitley realize what a nice one would cost but, I can't justify spending over $1000 on a gun. Not for the 5 times a year I use it.

I know Benelli is doing all there wood and steel work for them.

I went ahead and had them put one aside for me since it was their grand opening sale. I've see the same gun listed other places from $400 to $450..

I had the check with you guys here before litterally pulling the trigger on the purchase.

Hopefully others with chime in.....

Very basic O/U shotgun, clubby looking, does not have auto ejectors. ****'s Sporting Goods sells them.

If your looking for an inexpensive O/U, check out the CZ Redhead. MSRP on it is $795, so I'm sure it can be had for less than that. Fantastic reviews on it. Outdoor Life gave it the Best Buy award and it nearly got the Editor's Choice award over a $4500 Kimber O/U.

And a Stoeger is a super cheap O/U!

Actually $275 if the gun is 98% or better is pretty decent deal I guess. Is it a Condor Supreme? I would buy the gun for that, but it would be to let my friends shoot so they wouldnt handle one of my higher dollar shotguns (BTW $1000 is still very cheap for a quaility over and under...Ruger, Browning, Benelli, Berreta and so on and I have at least one of each of those!) Most according to grade are in the $1500 to $2500 range. If the reason your looking at this gun is because you want a over and under but dont want to spend a lot then its fine for that...of course it will not have the fit and finish of a higher grade gun but it will work. IF you want it because you think it will look like you have a high dollar gun then dont get it because in the field it will be real easy to see that it is a cheap gun.

I agree...for the money you cant be a CZ firearm. They are made in the Czech (sp?) Republic but have awsome fit and finish (especialy for the money). I dont have any exeriance with their O/U but I have a CZ 9mm and a CZ 17HMR rifle and both are of very high quality guns with very tight tollerances.

Looking good is not what I'm in it for. Just an O/U that works and is fun to shoot.

Thanks for the replies. I'll let you know if I decide to get it.

Not going to tell you what to do, but I'd have bought it already. LOL The Stoegers are good entry level guns if you want an O/U or SxS without shelling out enough for a pile of factory rifles pricewise. They're not AAA Claro stocked, or polished to a mirror finish and deep deep rust blued, but you're not paying $10,000 for it either. Let us know what you decide and post pics when you bring it home.

I know 2 guys with them and I'm pretty sure they have been problem free. I would buy one for that price. (or 2)

Ive heard some bad things, but a lot more good things. Its cheap, ugly, doesnt fit great, but it will get the job done. I was pretty close to getting the Condor Special a month ago, but since I really dont need it, I decided to wait until I graduate and save up for something else.

I have one of the Condor Supremes i bought a few years ago, for about 400.00 has choke tubes. It is a good gun to do just about anything with. I have shot trap and skeet with mine several times. I had to cut 1//4" off the stock to fit me better.

I don't think you would go wrong at 275.00 especially if it has screw in chokes. They use WinChokes.

It may not have the fit and finish of the 1500.00 + berettas and such but, if you take it into the field and scuff it, you won't be as pissed.

It's been a while since I updated you guys on this. I've been haning out in a duck forum for most of the season.

At any rate I went ahead and purchased and used the gun several times over duck season. It performed without a hitch and I shot about 50 rounds through it.

I added a limb saver because it does kick like a mule but, a fun gun to shoot never the less. I'll be adding it to the growing collection and taking it out into the field from time to time.

All I can report is that it's not the best looking O/U in the class, hell it might even be last in it's class but, a great field gun to set in the blind. Scratches don't seem to bother a $300.00 gun...
