Photo editing help

I used to have a program for my digital pictures where I could just drag and drop pictures onto a sheet that had the picture size already on it. It would resize automatically. in other words, I could open up the the sheet that had the 5x7 outline on it, drop my picture on it and it would resize it. Then I could just hit print and out it would come 5x7. Does anyone know of a program I can download for free that will do this? I also want to be able to turn my color pictures to black and white..may be a dumb question, but i've never done it and I dont see anywhre in my camera software, where it allows me to do that after they are downloaded to my PC. Please Help, I need to get a picture printed out tonight. Thanks

Irfanview

Probably not quite as easy as you described, but it will let you resize images, convert formats, etc.
