Picture taker's ignorance shines on and on
The person who took this picture obviously has no idea about the drastic
differences between plywood and pressboard and therefore must have been a
t-sip. But, only an Aggie would realize the rationale behind this or even
care to figure why this was done.
By the time Loupot's was able to secure "lumber" to board up the windows,
they realized that the only thing that was available was pressboard. As
everyone should know, a major difference between pressboard and lumber is
that lumber can tolerate rain - pressboard cannot. The first thing that
pressboard does in the rain is disintegrate. It may take an hour, but it
will eventually succomb to rain, buckle, crack, and disintegrate. If you
look carefully, it is not plywood in those windows - it is PRESSBOARD.
When Loupot's boarded up their windows, they boarded them up from the
outside in realizing that they wanted to keep the "lumber" intact as long as
they possibly could. As THEY even said "We value our products first - our
windows, second." Only Aggies would be smart enough to do something like
this realizing that pressboard is NOT plywood.
