I've got a Trek Liquid 25... and the full suspension is fun. I've used it in the mountains and on trails, but its nice for an urban assualt bike also.

I can't get used to the full suspension....I will take a hard-tail anyday....as long as my knees stay in working condition...I will not have any need for that extra shock....

If they did, their server would probably crash as it would be working incredibly hard and using more bandwidth than currently exists in the entire universe . . . because . . . damn, that would be a lot of stuff to have to correct.

I feel sorry for gator tho, he being a newbie and just wanting to share something. I had a difficult time reading the post. He sure got blasted. May not ever hear from him again. Bout the only thing that was said was no one accused him of being Triton. I kept waiting for that, since a Mountaineer was involved.

For a newbie he made out pretty good with this post considering this crowd. Luckily for him oldnnew chimed in with some sillyness about the size of the engine and the parents being the problem and then Big D hijacked it into a bicycle thread. A half naked woman and a few well placed jokes.

Nice Thread Gator....well done.

From: Lost some where in the middle of the Ozark Mountains!
My first truck was a 69 F100 with a modified 302 with holley 650 double pumper, RV cam, 9/1 compression, 4.11 rearend. I bought it fixed it up by myself and for myself. Lots of broken parts but no accidents. Drove that all over the country for hard 2 years. Then got an 81 TA with a stock small block. Got to many tickets in it, lost my license for 30 days, but no wrecks. Parents took it from me when I lost my license and made me buy a 4cyl 90 S-10, 30,000 miles almost new. They said it was "safer"...LOL
Drove it for 5 years total. It had a huge 2.5L 5 spd. Less than a month later I spun out while going to fast for a light weight truck on a dirt road and planted the rear bumper to the tail gate into an imbankment at 50mph, one guy broke his pinky. 1 year later, I hit a deer. 1 year after that, wife was with me and pregnant, again spun out going to fast on a dirt road and went through a barb wire fence. HAd many more v8's since then and no more accidents. Man I never should have gotten such a big motor like the one in that a S10. Guess I just wasnt ready for that kind of power.

My point being I've only had 3 accidents total "non reported to insurance or cops" and all 3 were in the only 4 cyl that I have ever owned.

BTW Go ahead and knock my spelling, I've had some beer and wine! So now I;m to the point that,
"I don't care...
So you dont have to."
